The Integral Way Society (IWS) is an international organization of individuals dedicated to the self-development and spiritual support of all people. The mission is to assist people throughout the world to achieve physical, mental and spiritual health. The IWS supports the foundation of a natural life by nurturing individual self-respect and by teaching time-tested methods of individual self-cultivation - the universal Integral Way. The IWS's principles are rooted in the teachings of the I Ching and Lao Tzu's Tao Teh Ching. The many books of Hua-Ching Ni serve as the modern elucidation of the ancient teachings of the universal Integral Way and provide the foundation for the IWS's spiritual purpose and direction.
The IWS is a non-profit, non-denominational, non-partisan, spiritually focused organization. There are two categories of participation in the IWS:
Membership
The IWS accepts as a member any person who wishes to become part of the organization, supporting or helping to accomplish its spiritual purpose. A member can be any person who is interested in the spiritual goals of the IWS. For example, a member can be anyone who is interested in Hua-Ching Ni's books, is taking classes from a mentor, or is participating in a study group. Members are also welcome to volunteer in a variety of activities with mentors and other members involving many forms of expression.
Members pay a donation of $30 per year. During the year, a member will receive a one-year subscription to the quarterly Integral Voyager newsletter and a 10% discount from SevenStar Communications on books by Hua-Ching Ni and others, video and audio tapes (including Eight Treasures, T'ai Chi, Dao-In and Self-Healing Chi Gong), and all other SevenStar materials. You will also be eligible for a special discount on the IWS Annual Retreat and other special events. (Check with your teacher/mentor for any other special member discounts.)
Members also share by volunteering their support with the Book Promotions, Study Groups, and Newsletter Activities of the IWS mentors. Members are also eligible for the Self-Challenge Program.
Through the newsletter and other networking opportunities with the IWS, members can keep informed and also be involved with the activities of SevenStar Communications, Traditions of Tao, and Yo San University. (Non-members are welcome to subscribe to the newsletter for $10 per year in the U.S.A., and $17 per year for international subscriptions.)
Mentorship
A mentor is a student who prepares to give service as a teacher or other position of responsibility, and to live a complete life by helping human society for mutual spiritual growth. A mentor is a person of upright spiritual qualities who is ready for a higher commitment and binds himself/herself to meritorious conduct in professional and personal life. Mentors extend themselves to fulfill virtuous spiritual service in the world. This may be accomplished through teaching certified movement, study group and other classes, through supporting activities such as editing books and organizing activities, and other avenues of service. Mentors pay a minimum donation of $75 annually, and receive the Integral Voyager newsletter. More information is available for those interested in the Mentor Program.
